Questions
Do you read my messages?
No. The file is opened and laid out by your browser on your device. Nothing of the chat is sent to us — not the text, not the names, not the photos.
Which chats can I use?
Telegram (exported from Telegram Desktop) and WhatsApp (exported from the phone). Private chats and groups.
How long can the chat be?
As long as you like — you can choose a period, a year or a few months, if the whole chat is too much. WhatsApp itself exports at most about 40,000 recent messages (10,000 with media).
Can I print it?
Yes. The PDF is laid out in A5 pages: print it at home or at any copy shop or photo service.
What if I lose the files?
Open the book again on the same device with the link from your payment page, or upload the same export again.
Can I keep the book on your site?
Yes, if you choose to. When the book is ready you can download it right away, or keep the finished book on Chatbook for 30 days and download it later, from any device, or send its link. Only the finished book is kept — never your chat. After 30 days it is deleted for good.
